Spoken history is a way of learning by direct contact with a witness.
We are looking for testimonies of forgotten heroes and heroines of the times of WWII and living under the Stalinist regime in Kraków. We are looking for testimonies of forgotten heroes and heroines of World War II and the occupation and Stalinist regime. Witnesses of history actively participate in important historical events. Brave people were active in underground organizations, fighting for the right to live and repressed for belonging to independence organizations after 1945. Cracovians, not by their birth, but by their activities in Cracow. We want to regain the memory of them, save them from being forgotten - for ourselves and for future generations, to enrich our knowledge of the city's history.
